I truly believe that a website, any website, should only ever be a shop window.
Harrods as well as every high-street shop will display their windows in an attractive manner to entice you inside by strategically
arranging particular display items perfectly. They each have thousands of items and yet the window only has a few.
This is not a mistake, it's the plan, it would look messy, confusing or just plain stupid and potential customers
would walk away, so as I've said, a website is only a shop window and that's all it should ever be.
What about FREE WEBSITES - There's NO such thing no matter how it's worded.
YOU GET 10Gb of FREE WEBSPACE - For use with what - Amazon.com don't even need 10Gb of space
Transfer has administrative work involved - 'right click - delete' and your site is gone.
so how do these lovely people make money?
purely by scaremongering and/or charging hosting and transfer fees
Registration of domain names have to be paid for every year to a third party - as in not me.
Web hosting has to be paid for every year to the hosting company - as in not me. and prices obviously only rise.
I can arrange both hosting and buying of a domain name that YOU will own - as in not me.
